http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0,23739,26699545-952,00.htmlOk...not sure wether emulation news or just here is the best place to post...but it's a good and bad thing.Good-nintendo is cracking down as normal, protecting their property, and laying the smackdown on someone lucky enough to get a pre-release copy.Bad-This may one day be the fate of all uploaders-even small time people like...me :(My mother called me when she saw this on the news, and rightfully so...I wonder if all those other sites that may have a copy might get shut down themselves. Most of what I say is opinion though...so what are your thoughts on this aussie betting fined?

Sucks to be him.I'm going light on my uploading from now on just because I don't feel comfortable with it. :(

I have guide lines to good uploading, I learnt from other websites on the best ways...safe tip i can give here is to use only older games no one cares about.Safest is to not upload altogether :P(Most of the romU uploaders would be getting pre-release games, so this is a matter concerning them)

I wonder if hes got the $1.5 million available to pay the fine-and HTF anyone expects him to pay if he hasnt.Another thing about these cases is how can they finalise some figure. They cant prove what theyve lost out on sales-how do they know that because someone got it for free that they were going to buy it beforehand.Anyway,it should be the ISP's that cop the fines-its them thats allowing all this copywright infringement to happen LOL
