Magic Stick HELP (psp)
A
Okay I need a firmware to downgrade 5.50 OFW.
And I need a magic stick for that.
Can you find me the OFW? I couldn't.
T
What CFW are you currently running?
You want to upgrade to 5.50 OFW from CFW? In that case you just run the update like normal and it will write over your CFW.Or do you want to go to 5.50 Gen-D? You can get to 5.00M33-4 with this:
http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-grader-v008/Then you can update to 5.50Gen-A, then B, then I think you can go right to D. But you have to start at the base 5.50Gen-A after 5.00M33.

He has 5.50.He asked for my help previously-and I had no clue(wanna help me-my psp initial d don't work anymore-I made a topic...)
T
It doesn't matter what your OFW is, if you can use a Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick. It works on every firmware, as long as you have a PSP compatible with the Pandora Battery Method (PSP 1000 and early 2000 models) It is a hardware exploit, rather than a software exploit which can be fixed by firmware.
M
Can I ask?Can you softmod a 2000 battery and swap it back?I got the ultimate vsh plugin and it has that option-is that only for psp 1000?
T
I have never modded a battery, so I don't know :(I just found it easier to spend 6 dollars and buy a TOOL Battery.

Where can I find one that's safe and cheap?
Ebay has nothing...
T

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12472It takes a couple weeks to ship to the US though.

MDS dont hi-jack my topic :D
So I can downgrade it with any Pandora and Magic Stick right?
T
Yes. You can downgrade your PSP with a Pandora Battery... if it is a PSP 1000 or a PSP 2000 without the TA088v3 motherboard.
A
It is.
Any stick also, right?
T
Yes, but you have to load the files on it using a Magic Memory Stick creator program, like the one I linked to earlier.
