Lets list all the PS3s problems :D

Seriously?PS used to be the first to get all the chips, I still remember my old Mars one for PSone...good times.

It's not realy a problem with the system but, I don't like the fact that you use the R1 button to fire in COD4. It dosen't have that "trigger feel". Also, the R2 and L2 buttons feel like they're already broken. They should just jock the 360's trigger config.

3. Small unit offen burn out faster, PS2 bulk last longer then PS2 slim
4. Black is Universal
5. PS3's controller isnt focus on "motion sensor", "motion sensor" is just the cherry on top of the whiping cream and ice cream. You dont call a photocopy printer useless just because it cant print in color. D-Pad and Analog is still the way to go.now me as a PS3 owner, give you a list of problem that i found.....1. weak online support
2. expensive game
3. low internal memory (256Mb ram just isnt going to cut it now days, they should atleast go for 512Mb)
4. buggy internet broswer (worse then IE)
5. too easy to get finger print on the PS3 (just like PSP)
6. no charging station for controller
7. cant play any video file other then MP4 and no official converter available
8. no program to open a text file
9. cant surf the net, watch video, play MP3 while playing a game
10. too little usb slot (should give atleast 4)

it's very heavy, big and power hungry. the amount of heat coming out of this thing is like a pc.

it doesnt need one. Unlike the xbox360.

who said ps3 is over priced compare to the other consoles is stupid. overall cost is very close to the other consoles. Most of the people that think a ps3 is a waste of money are people who don't know an investment when they see one. I rather spend on a very advance system, that I know for sure that will last me for years and years to come. When every other console will try to update theirs can catch up to the graphics and performance of it... Don't worry guys we will be buying new consoles sooner or later and me will still have my ps3 with better graphics and money on my pocket.

it is true to say that the ps3 has a lasting potential (if it can stay afloat in the market) but to say that it will still last when other consoles update is absurd, both m$ and Nintendo are looking in to blue ray (who knows maybe better) and when they release another console (which at the moment they don't need to being market leaders) the gfx will be updated. obviously Nintendo will go for gameplay based games and not gfx based games but the next xbox will most likely be as close to a pc you can get in regards to performance probably combining even further the live feature (most likely allowing console player to play pc players).i think the next round of console wars will see sony die in the console market.but i do agree that the ps3 is a good investment and people should stop bitching about the price, i don't see many other media center/blu-ray players with the ability to play next gen games for the price of the ps3, i mean i could build one better then a ps3 and so could anyone with a pc part catalog and a screwdriver but its not likely to come under the price of a ps3

Sega MegaCD was. playstation was the result of nintendo trying to copy the megaCD. Additionally, the Sega saturn came out several months before the playstation. Also, sony invented blu-ray, so its pretty much a given that they'd be first to use it in a console.

anyway Sony was nowhere near the first to release a CD system.

If only the PS3 was as good as the PS2 was in its time, yes for all the anti-sony in me everyone has to admit the PS2 was great, I ended up gttting it last but it was still great and I had many hours of fun

one problem you've likely noticed is that, just like it's counter part the 360, it is machoistic.
what is it with big body parts with little puny heads. i believe in the 360 you had gears of war [though i'm not too sure as i no longer own the game] and in the ps3 you have this game being released soon [ http://kotaku.com/5260955/darksiders-preview-the-war-of-god ]. if you look at the characters in these systems, it's like saying the people who play games on these systems are stupid due to the small head and big boddies. the body of two football dudes with the head of a 10 year old. you gotta laugh at that.

The only problem I have with the PS3 is that I don't have one. :(I'll wait for one more price drop though before I get one. I want to get a few of those niche games that are being released for it(Disgaea 3 <3).
