Lesser Known RPGs for DS
S
I'm still searching for a great DS RPG.
The really good titles where introduced to me by my brother, but the more populor ones.
If there are any great titles, please shed some light. Even if they are less populor etc.

@MadmanNero: Most of the stuff you listed are widely recognized RPGs though.
M
yeah I know, but not sure what would be considered "lesser known" unless its the jap games so I just listed what I knew of as general RPGs, but if anyone comes up with some that I may have overlooked feel free to add it :)Just trying to be more of some use than a nuisance ;)

Heh, thanks! It was a great help! Only, some of these my bro already... well... damn does he have to favorite everything before me...
Well, thanks anyway, I'm sure some of these will be a great help.

I didn't know about these RPGs until my buddy Paul from the UK told me about them when we were chatting on Skype several months ago. They are "Contact" and "Magical Starsign". I've tried them both, and find them to be really good. I hope this helps you.

It be fun.

Super Robot Taisen (The one thats just come out)
Lux Pain
Summon Night
Blue Dragon PlusAgain, these are widely known but they're still RPG's haha ;)
N
Lux Pain is an adventure...

My bad >_< XD Nox is right, i just scanned through my ds to see what jumped out and that did, apologies ^_^
N
It's still a great game though, has a few problems with the emulators and it's gore level is...up there.
But a great game imo
Your suggestion's valid ^^

I'm yet to properly play it, i've done the starting bit but i've read the localisation was horrible making it unenjoyable for those not native to japan text wise. I'll get round to it after Super Robot and Suikoden Tierkreis but i'm getting off topic there haha :)
N
*nods* You've read right, it was done by a proffesional translator who probably thought pop-culture has something to do with popcorn...But yes, back on topic.
I agree with MadmanNero list, there's quite a few unknown ones there, should keep anyone busy for weeks.
S
you could try disgaea, though thats an srpg. It's very not-known though, which is a good point.
And uhh... full metal alchemist is a beat'em'up, not an rpg. There's not even a level up system in that game.
N
Err...Disgaea is one of the most known srpg's...some even say it's better then FFTA2

Also, the DS Disgaea is just a port of the PS2 Disgaea. Same as the PSP Disgaea (A port of the PS2 game).

Magical Starsign, Luminious Arc?
