Lack of Rom Releases... Anyone know why?

Dumping is actually very easy, especially after you've tried it once. It might take an hour depending on how large the ROM is, but it's mostly time where you just wait.But yeah, reason no good ROMs are released = lack of good games released. Can't make a ROM of something that doesn't exist. :)

I didn't say it was hard, I said it was a pain :D You need equipment, which is why I'm not helping out in the cause (that... and I don't buy many DS games that I haven't tried first anymore).

The only equipment you really need is the same equipment needed to play games on your DS.Slot 1 device and a Slot 2 device like EZFlash 3 in 1. Then a nifty little program you can download from linfoxdomain.Insert flashcart
Run the program
Insert the Slot 1 Game
Dumps the image to Slot 2
Insert flashcart again
Copies data from Slot 2 to a file on your flashcart.

growlthI'm pretty excited about Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, loved those games for the GBC. Sadly I don't think playing these will re-light my love for the game, I think I loved them so much because of the awesome changes the game brought to the Pokemon RPG games. I'm also excited about a few of the games getbuck said. Just hope the Magician game (Animal Crossing type game) that came out gets released soon, really want to play that one.

i know you said about the whole, buying the game then plugging it in to the other thing, to dump it.But, can the dumpers not just 'Rent' the game, because it seems sensible, you can rent games.

You can yes, but if you want to race to get the dump first, chances are you'll have to either buy or have pre-store access.
