Still waiting for Iwata-San to unveil the name change like he said he would because, personally, I think 3DS implies that this is merely an upgrade and I think a new name would benefit the console.

Different console. Iwata said that the 3DS would undergo a name change shortly after its official announcement.

I hope it gets a name cooler than 'Developer's System'.
Maybe something to show it's revolutionary power, such as 'BackFlip'. Then we can make puns about going out with our BFs.
