iTunes help

I have an old ipod and I bought a new touch one. Problem is ;my music is inside that old one. I cant seem to copy it.How can I copy them to a folder or maybe directly to iPod?

I can do this with the latest Nano; Connect your iPod, go to the Removable Drive, choose the folder setting 'Show Hidden Files and Folders', and go into the folder ipodcontrol, all the files will be in there, filenames will be abbreviated to 4 letters and numbers, hopefully they had all the correct ID3 tags.

I done this...no problems..."consolidate music" then it will make the songs again in where the itunes library is.And I have the library on an external storage device-if I left in in the ipod and something goes wrong-I loss 12gb of music :(
