I probably should have installed one by now but I didn't know which was the best program for that kind of thing. Any suggestions or is Malwarebytes the best one I'm going to be able to find?

Malwarebytes is the best virus-scanner/malware removal tool.
It is not the best antivirus, in-fact, you can't really consider the free version an anti-virus.If you're looking for a free antivirus then you should probably go for avast.

Well, in that case, yes, Malwarebytes is the best option.

malwarebytes is not a virus scanner at all. It is a malware removal tool only. It needs to be used in conjunction with a decent antivirus (not norton or mcafee) and a firewall (not windows firewall, norton or mcafee).

You can call it whatever you want dude, but that doesn't change the fact that it scans your system for viruses and then removes them.
