RomUlation uses a point system to prevent download abuse. We host a large number of files, and without the point sytem in place, a small number of greedy users would saturate the connection and create a poor experience for everyone else.When you sign up at RomUlation, 500 points are credited to your account to get you started. Files under 50MB in size do not cost any points, they're free to download! However, files over 50MB in size cost 1 point per MB. For example, an 80MB file will cost 80 points. If you run out of points, there are a variety of ways to earn more:» Simply wait! Regular members receive 50 points credited to their account every 24 hours.» Become a premium member! A premium membership costs $15.00USD, and lasts for two months. Premium members receive 250 points credited to their account every 24 hours. Hiya..I found an error or two on the Introduction to RomUlation page.» In the bulleted list under "Points", the second bullet says that you are credited 5 points for every approved uploaded screenshot. However farther down the page under "Screenshots" and in bold text, it says you are credited 15 points for every approved uploaded screenshot. I don't know what the correct point value is, because I haven't uploaded any screenshots.» In the bulleted list under "Points", the third bullet says that premium members receive 150 points per night. It is actually 250 points per night that are credited to premium members.Aside from that, I think that the points paragraph could undergo a little re-write, just to be more clear. For example:
