I'm getting a little sick of vista and it's "Security"

I'm using the Admin account, 3 hours ago i was copying things from one folder, to another, and such, now 3 hours later i can't copy or delete things from that folder because it says i don't have the permission to it anymore, i try and change the permissions and hardy har, access is denied. I never had any of these problems with XP. This has happened countless of times with "permissions" for folders. Can't change them even though i'm on the admin account.

That's why you should go back to XP!Vista sucks, try to log in as "Admin"?

My laptop takes forever to load on start up...after de-fraging it and deleting so much junk it's still slow as hell to load...I just want speed, plain and simple.

Exactly.Tiny Vista wasn't too bad, but I only used it for like 3 days. :PThen I got tired of it and switched to Tiny XP Beast Edition before going to Tiny 7.

Vista didn't bother me too much after I broke the security a bit when it wouldn't let me do stuff in my folders. I'll tolerate a lot of things but I'm not gonna put up with having to go through that fucking prompt every time I move something into my C: drive because I can't fucking save it in there in the first place.But yeah, 7 is just fine. I didn't even have to destroy anything and it worked nicely.

Wow, another Tiny user. I didn't think others existed. lolNever had to deal with admin issues in Tiny Vista.

There are a few. :)I use Tiny 7 on every computer I have and I put it on my friend's netbook and his mom's netbook and his sister's laptop. (made $50 off of it. ;D )I never have used Tiny Vista enough to see what the issues were.Though I'm not going to.

Vista was the worst thing that ever happened to my old comp. Get rid of it, fast :o

Vista is so freaking annoying! I update it for hours, then it tells me that there are more updates!
note to self: Stick with XP until Windows 8 comes out!

What's wrong with Win7?

My problem with vista is the security also, I couldn't open firefox OR windows media player until I right clicked and chose "run as administrator" I'm also getting spammed from the security tool, every minuit or so like 10 boxes come up telling me to buy shit and update >.> It tells me my laptop is infested with viruses *closes spam box* and that I have a privacy risk and that my laptops being hijacked all this crap, so, I run a scan with AVG, there were NO viruses, not ONE! And yet, I am still plagued by this crap *closes spam box*, I can't remove the security thing or change from vista, because my laptop won't work with anything else =(It also screwed up my internet explorer. I can't get rid of IE either >.<
