Ignoring save file

Hi I'm using R4 Original w/ wood r4 1.12
My problem is a couple of my roms started to ignore save filesThe first one is the legend of zelda: the spirit tracks, when I start the game it creates and overwrites the save file and says new game, when I reset the game it works fine and it doesnt ignore the file it createsThe second one is more weird, yugioh 2010 reverse of arcadia, it creates a new save file and says new game and after saving I reset my DS, when starting yugioh it creates new save file and says new game again!I mean it doesnt make sense at all
Any help would be appreciated

Were these existing save files from your previous firmware?I believe Wood R4 uses the .nds.sav name, rather than just .sav
Rename your old save files you are trying to use.

I know that already, which I forgot to tell other games works perfectly fine
The problem is only those two games

Ok, I tried it with my brother's R4 and it works on it
That means my R4 is broken or something? What kind of error is this and how do I fix it

Back up and format your Micro SD card. Chances are it is just a minor firmware issue that happened due to old files not being completely overwritten when placing the new firmware in.

Formatting Micro SD solved the problem of yugioh's (Thanks to Nathan Drake)I also found the problem about zelda's:
My save file is 512 kb, but the game always creates a 1 mb save file
even though I change save type to 512 kb it keeps that way
so how can I make it back to 512 kb?
