My system has just been forced updated by Windows update to use IE8 from IE7, as I told you guys in the past, although FireFox is absoloutely miles better than this piece of crap Internet Explorer I am forced to rely on it as whenever I install Firefox onto my rig here it usually acts up & cause several problems, like FireFox being unstable crashing often, or for some strange reason it messes with AVG dis-abling some of AVG's elements.Anyway since I'm forced to use IE8 I have no choice but to live with it. Now things look a bit aesthetically good as I can now once again see winterreises's fantastic flash animated ads for RomUlation (I can see them before when I was using Firefox). All seems fine except I noticed that when I have to type in huge walls of text & the text exceeds the "post area's" space causing a scroll bar to appear that things get hairy. Say I'm at the very end of the long wall of text & continue typing something funky & annoying occurs, the scroll bar resets & returns at the very top making what I've been typing at the very bottom un-accesible, that is until I lower the scroll bar to expose the very bottom of the wall of text. Then as I resume typing the scroll bar again climbs up placing my location at the bottom un-accesible again. It's extremely annoying as I'm typing blind, I can't see what I wrote until I physically lower the page. And it seems pressing enter to move a line lower is making things worse as that instantly lifts the scroll bar to the very top of the wall of text :(How can I go about remedying this? And if you're asking, it's only here at RomUlation I'm experiencing this. :(EDIT:Oops! Sorry to shoot the gun like that, I just checked, I went to two other sites I frequent that uses SMF (the forums for Bangu Bang Mania! & RHDN's forums) & it seems IE8 has issues with forums using SMF, WTH? ???However, forums that uses vbulletin aren't affected *grumbles* damn, IE8I'll try Google Chrome thanks winter :)
