I wonder why Monster racers and Pokemon have alot in common..

Arron_zeroMonsters games are compared to pokemon because pokemon are extremely widely known, making it easy for people to see the connection. But monster racer is compared to pokemon not just because it has different monsters in it, the amount of similarities are a lot. The union center to pokemon center, the pick 3 monsters as starter, star seven to gym leaders(or maybe not =P) and also racers to pokemon trainers in dungeons. But the gameplay is completely different to pokemon and, amazingly, this game is REALLY fun. Forget the fact that it's a rip-off or has a lot of similarities, this game is too good/nice/fun to even be bothered by that fact xD

pokemon has [b]EIGHT[b] gym leaders not seven

that's why I put 'maybe not' in bracket xD but it's still pretty close don't cha think? =P

Hey, give Monster Raising games a chance for innocence, It's just like WoW. Ever since it came out, All other MMORPGs have never been safe again.

i dont really think its fair to judge monster racer like that. im sure digimon got jabs about being similar to pokemon too. (although it seems to me as if they tried to make it as different as possible) besides, there isnt a full copyright on the ideas of centers, or 3 starters, thought im sure someone'll raise a suit anyways...
