If you deleted your account then people could automatically assume that you would create another account to refil your points to 500.. I'd assume that's why you can't delete your account.

It was changed sometime in the last year or so. After a couple weeks of inactivity, and account stops earning points. But Seph was refering to the reasons for not allowing account deletion. Since you are only allowed one account, you could theoretically delete your account, create a new one, and get a free 500 points, bypassing the point system.

The server tracks IP addresses (among other things that Seph will not reveal), the Admins can tell what accounts are shared, and can issue bans when needed.

Your brother using your account doesn't matter.
Your brother making a new account using the same computer or internet connection will rarely matter.Seph has ways to tell the difference between different users in the same household and the same user with multiple accounts. :)

Lots of information logging and lots of complex maths. And even then it's hardly an exact science, sometimes it comes down to gut feeling. And of course sometimes users create like 10 accounts and it's really pretty damn obvious...

10 accounts in a row or what?
