Hypnosis don't cure anything. You can make suggestions or make a person more willing to do or not to do something. That's the same thing as saying that addiction(of any kind) has cure. It doesn't.

It is fake. The man who invented hypnosis was named Dr. Mesmer as in Mesmerized. He lived in the 1800s and was a traveling hypnotist. Only people wanted attention so they acted hypnotised and were really just acting. Read about Mark Twains childhood story he wrote.
