You'll need higher level Pokemon because his first one will plow right through most of those without a second thought.And I think you mean Red?

No I don't, I mean Blue of Viridian Gym.

You'll still have to level up those Pokemans though...

You know Rhydon is a pretty weak Pokemon ;D Just find some Pokemon that knows ice or water or fighting moves that is 5 levels more than the Rhydon and I guarantee you would defeat it ;D

Well guess what my Registeel knows Rock Smash and its like 20 levels higher

So what moves defeated your Registeel?

Your weakness in your party is you depend too much on your Registeel. Since you are at your last GYM match , train your rest of your party to level 45 to 50 and you will win, your level is way too low.
