I'm using a CDMA dial-up connection with 138kbps max speed. I don't really understand how a download manager works at a low speed connection, usually at 6 simultaneous mirror download, I could get 12-16 kbps, but I could get the same speed with 3 or even 2 mirrors sometimes.Oh, and my DL speed (@mediafire with 6 mirrors) has topped at 20kbps for 1 or 2 sec. I can't really afford a broadband connection with their expensive modem. My current ISP charges about $6 a month for unlimited bandwidth and the modem it used is a very cheap mobile phone. ;D

you're referring to download acceleration using multiple connections, which RomUlation only allows for premium members. Regardless, on a 138kbit connection, 20KB/s is more or less your absolute maximum speed.

Yes I am. But I always use download managers for files over 5MB for connection stability and easier resuming. It can be really slow at peak hours.
