Hook up Wii to PC Monitor

HelloI have endeavored to try and hook up my Wii to my PC LCD VGA Monitor and my PC Speakers.I'm trying to figure out exactly what i need in order to do this.
I know that I will need an adapter that converts the Wii Composite Cable to VGA for my desktop.
I also know that I will need an adapter for a Wii Composite Cable to 3.5mm audio jack.Is there anything else I will be needing?I do not plan on using a TV Card. I do not want to run a program on my PC to run the Wii. I simply want to turn my Monitor into a TV-like equipment. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

you need a converter box, that's all. the box handles both video and audio.

What kind of converter box are you talking about?

a composite RCA to VGA converterEDIT: Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Mygica-Game-Video-Converter-Switcher/dp/B001463UNI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357446720&sr=8-1&keywords=vga+box

How will that handle both audio and video?

composite has 3 cables, 1 is video and 2 are audio. All 3 go into the box, and VGA and a 3.5mm stereo signal come out.

Are there any cheaper ones that you might suggest than the Mygica?Post Merge: [time]1357516947[/time]
