Homebrewing... (Unsure of where to post this...)
N
My roommate and I are interested in getting to the homebrew scene, but unfortunately, we have no idea where to start. I understand that you do need specific programs, and while I've heard of palib, I'm not sure if this would be an easy-to-use program for someone who wants to start out. If anyone could point us in the right direction, it would be appreciated, and as stated in the topic title, I was unsure of where to add this, so I threw it here.

do you want homebrew on a computer or console?

The tutorials at dev-scene aren't updated with changes to the latest toolchain/libnds, so you shouldn't try to use direct code from there. The information about the hardware there is very helpful to someone starting with DS programming however. http://patater.com/files/projects/manual/manual.html is another which should have updated code samples to the latest libnds I believe.Others:

Woohoo I was thinking of making a topic about something like this... But I guess too late... But not too late to learn! I shall spend some time learning how to program, and such...
