Hi, I would love some advice
P
I have a r4 for my sons dslite but I am planning on getting my daughter a dsi xl next month and so need a new card, could anyone advice me an a good card and place to buy from. I am a bit crap (lol) I have had the r4 for 2 years now and have only just found out I can update it so it plays newer games hahaha, I have done it tho, much to my sons delight. thankyou

if you want a good flash card i would suggest a supercard ds two you can get 1 from here www.r4idscards.com

thankyou, ill have a look. may I ask what maybe a very blond question - will any micro sd work in these cards or are they special lol
L
yes any will work with modern flashcarts. Sandisk are widely considered to be the best. The only time microsd cards become an issue is with the ORIGINAL, GENUINE R4s, which cannot support microsd cards over 2GB.

here is a link to the micro sd i use http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-sandisk-microsd-transflash-tf-memory-card-4gb-34531

The Acekard 2i is also a very good card.http://www.leetmod.com/acekard-2i-cartridge-for-nintendo-dsi-ds-lite-ds-p-169.html?zenid=ik47rco5e30o0hbr256felciu6

I would suggest getting the acekard2i. Since then she doesn't have to worry about updating firm ware and A.P as muchEDITED VERSION.I would suggest getting the acekard2i. Since then she doesn't have to worry about cracks and downloading patches as much since the Acekard2i offers AAP

That is not valid advice, all flashcarts need periodic firmware updates.

This.
Plus the DSTWO needs even less firmware updates.

I don't want to retype, look here...http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=50186.0

i also recommend scds2 but acecard2i is alot cheaper
scds2 has alot of benefits though like gba and snes emulation
