help with sound and video

what the best program for sync. avi files,and how to do it??

i men sync as in geting the lips to move with the volume...get what i mean..

Oh.I think the file is just corrupted, or the thing that recorded it is out of order or just plain bad.what are you trying to sync?

VirtualDub is a decent, free program.I'm no video expert, but depending on the codecs used, avi files don't have separate audio and video data. So once the raw info is encoded you probably won't be able to change the audio/video sync.

it said on the readme thing that you had to do it,plus people have confirmed it working,i tried asking how they did it but they were being bit**** about it.the movie is medea-i can do bad all on my own. the thing also mentioned something like -8 3... i think those are those re the numbers i have to punch in.
