from National Audubon Society Field guide to african wildlife (ISBN: 0-679-43234-5), page 550:
Leopard
Panthera PardusDescription: A large spotted cat, with short powerful limbs, heavy torso, thick neck and long tail. Short, sleek coat from tawny yellow to reddish brown; darker (sometimes black) in wetter forested habitats. Spots grouped into rosettes on torso and upper limbs, smaller scattered spots on lower limbs and head. L 3'4"-4'2" (1-1.25 m); T 27-32" (68-80cm); Ht 23-28" (58-70cm); Wt 62-142lb (28-65kg).Similar species: Cheetah has long slender legs, thin waist and small head with 'tear stains' on face.Habitat: Every type except interior of large deserts, the only large predator in rainforestsBreeding: 1-4 cubs born year-round, but birth peak occurs during rainy season; gestation is 90-105 days.Range: Rare in Morocco. Widespread south of sahara to s. cape provinceThe leopard eats whatever form of animal protein is available, from termites to a waterbuck. Where humans have depleted prey, the leopard turns readily to livestock and domestic dogs. This flexibility and its secretive nocturnal habits have made the leopard likely to persist near human settlements long after the lion and cheetah have been extirpated. It caches kills in trees to prevent lions and hyenas from taking its food. The leopard is solitary and territorial but sometimes shares hunting ranges. The black phase of this species is called a black panther.
Pages 366-369 of the behaviour guide to african mammals (richard despard estes, ISBN: 0-520-08085-8) has a lot of what you need (about the leopard), so time to visit a library. These are both books I own.

You shouldn't, loonylion likes lions, and considering a few factors related to that...plus the fact that he's one of the smartest guys I know...
