The MirrorsEdgeI predict that a fare percentage of games will still be available because some of the older PSone games (PSX) are not on playstation network (yet) so the only way to avoid a complete shut down is to keep posted on the playstation network and wii ware stores (as wii ware has a vurtual console to play N64 games, NES and SNES all we have to do is keep updated on whats on there stores as they are making mony from the product so the we will have to band that download.) So we can avoid a major shut down but just barely and eventually this will be a site for sega and atari games. I am sorry to tell nthis but it is the truth unless the companys choos to ditch the title and the the creators of this site will be able to by the licence to the title. P.S GBA and GBC games should still be safe prmenantly
It's not based if they're still selling em, actually, it's by who owns em. Even some Atari 2600 games are down.

I predict the eventually thus site will have an eventual shutdown because of how technology is advancing you can purchase games online from the creators for example playstation store and wii ware shop and download them and play for a small fee because the cant just give it to you so what seth should do is keep up-to-date with the stores and as they keep adding the old games for vurtual consoles on the physical consol it self and if they add a game that seth has on the site he should just block itI like this site to and im not trying to get it shut down but it is impossible to avoid, unless the company ditches the title and seth can purchase the rights to the title and then he can do what he wants with it including making it available to download. I can tell seth makes a bit of mony with this so insted of keeping the mony he can purchase the licecnces to the games and keep this tresured site up and running.

You aren't getting it. The ESA wants their games off NAO. No exceptions, no arguments.
And I do not believe that "Seth" will purchase rights to all the ESA games so he can make them free. Nobody's got that kinda money.
Seph intends to eventually change the site completely, so It reflects the limitations that are now in place. New design and everything.

Did you notice, that many other Rom-Sites aren`t pushed/forced by the ESA? I got some SNES downloads from another Site. I was curious and checked out the DS downloads as well...so, nothing changes over there. Since RomUlation is still MY site (and always will be) it feels kinda cheating downloading from another. XD
Bah. do your best, Seph, and keep on fighting. I don`t wanna change and leave this place 4ever. :( :( :( I don`t have the time to check out all these "ESA-Games" here on RomU - but thumbs up for all who just do it.

Somehow I understand what they`re doing. Everyone wants to get paid for hard work. But, listen ESA; I SPENT THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF EURO/DEUTSCHMARK over a couple of almost 20 years in gaming. And I still do. People DO exist who are using RomUlation as a "Preview-Section" to check out new Games, BEFORE buying it.

I don`t have to check out some Restaurants (Square, Atlus) before I try blindly their new "special menu" - I just know, that they`re creating some fresh things, that tastes good. XD But vefore ESA came I could "try n` buy" here on Romu. And find some real new intersting stuff, that`s worth spending my money. Besides; in my local Videostore you can try the Games before buying. But my local Videostore doesn`t have such a huge collection - and compared to Sites like RomU...well, he`s fuckin` late ;).

I'm not totally sure about this, but I visited ESA website and checked the IP issues or something and their list of countries did not include Japan. Does that mean having Japanese games on the site is not illegal???
