Kage56the more i read, the less likely i am of being able to consider you more than a biased fanboy... not to be rude, but you're really pushing it here by touting it as if it's the only best game to come out so far.also, where is the more powerful game editor? not reach, if that was what you were to reply. reach is using premade objects while LBP2 creates objects from primitives and premade to create different levels from sidescrollers, top-downs, and so-on. of course, in terms of size, halo:reach can hold its head high as the best. if not halo:reach, may you be as kind as to inform of what game you are talking about?also, if LBP2 can't be GOTY then neither can Halo: Reach from what you're telling me here.

i meant for console, but yea, that's pretty much is a better editor... i think. not quite sure since i've never seen the editor, just the flOw level made from it.

You don't use Garry's Mod to make levels though, as far as I know anyways. I haven't played Garry's Mod in a very long time.Anyways, I think the Forge World is gonna be awesome, I can't wait.

So... has anyone mentioned that something being GOTY has absolutely no reflection on how good the game is and is instead how much people are waiting for it? Even game critics aren't immune to the hype machine. And the Halo franchise IS hyped. I played an alternate reality game called "Iris" in the leadup to Halo 3, and Halo 2 had the "I love bees" campaign. Millions of dollars are spent on making you guys go "oh my god yesssss".It'll probably be the best Halo, yeah. But that's not really saying much.

Microsoft doesn't own Bungie anymore, so Halo is still Bungies more than anybody. They aren't making anymore Halo games. Period. Bungie is going to be focusing on a new IP.

no, that doesn't really tell me much... i could basically say you can remake an entire LBP level with the editor and it still wouldn't explain how powerful it is if you've never played it + the chances are that you can design something larger than the campaign using their editor.
something more descriptive to someone who hasn't had the chance to play it, yet. i'm interested in playing, but this computer is a clunky piece of hardware...
I've never cared for starcraft, but that explains a lot to me. It explains that a mere level making program was, and can be used to make the campaign of an entire game.

Essentially it means it's very powerful. They didn't code anything specifically for the campaign because the editor is that good. If the company that made the game used it, you can pretty much guarantee that it's versatile.

No, Halo is MS', they bought out the IP. So the IP is Microsoft's, full stop. MS created a developor 343 studios just to make Halo games when Bungie's done with Reach.
I don't think they're gonna make anymore Halos anyways. At least I hope not. But knowing me I'll get it anyways. XD
