I wouldn't trust it...AFAIK you can't hack the 4G the same way as the rest...if at all. =/

Yes you can...I hacked it just a while ago..
Redsn0w successully did the trick.
BUT now, Cydia won't start. How to fix this?

Nevermind, I quited hacking since I almost broke my iPod.
I know how to fix Cydia & make redsn0w work on Vista.Just enable XP SP2 compatibility mode, run as admin and after jailbreaking run the iPod in Tethered mode (using redsn0w)
