Getting FFCC EoT to work on M3 DS Real

How can I get it to work? Do I have to hack the rom?
I have the English version of the rom, and I really don't want to have to go and buy the game right now, because I'm saving up for a PS3 game right now.The game keeps showing the full party members in an all black area and then shortly crashing afterwords.I really hope there's a way to make it work.

Have you updated your firmware?And lately Square-Enix has been putting some anti-piracy check points in their games to prevent flash cart users to use them. :-\
