But they actually are different.
You need to experience It yourself,though.
I'm a big fan of football/soccer so I enjoy playing these games.
I really don't mind If people don't like these games.
Its just that It bugs me If they start saying Its 'lame' and 'gay' and etc.
But thank god you people don't.
On topic again.
Halo 3 ODST was pretty underrated as the people In my area only picked it up for Halo Reach Beta and Firefight.
They didn't bother to play the Campaign. Its a real bummer.
I also barely know anyone who has Army of Two or Gears of War 1/2.
GOD the people where I am at have no taste in games at all!!
All they play is Modern Warfare 2 and they start saying ': Halo 3 sucks bawls. MW2 is the shit.' etc when they haven't actually tried Halo 3.

lawlz, i love playing MW2 online, but that doesnt mean i hate halo, in fact, i love halo, and cant wait for reach. and i loved ODST's story so much, and gameplay too, because its not your regular halo game in which you go beserk on everyone and dont die :)
for my luck, my friends have almost same taste as me, so there is not much problems when playing games, except the football games, that they love, ive played both pes and fifa, and dont really see difference except the buttons layout :P
on topic again. a game my friends dont like much was mirrors edge, which i really liked

BTW, I hated Mirrors of Edge. But I must admit, that game was the reason I got sick and was able to skip a few days of school.
But seriously though, It was really fucked up. My brain couldn't take that pressure..
I hate turn-based-RPGs in general but everyone else seems to love them.
