Games that worked on R4 won't on R4i

I have recently upgraded my DS to a DSi and have replaced my R4 with R4i. ALthough I am using the same memory cards and games, I have updated the firmware and only half my games are working.To try and fix it I have deleted everything and put it all back on again but this is still not working. Games affecdted including Mario Kart, Tiger Woods, Animal Crossing and Brain TrainingAny ideas?
