Games Showing as Corrupt Wood R4 1.28
M
I’m setting up an R4 for a friend of my brother and I’m having a problem with some games, most notably Pokemon SoulSilver and Pokemon Black. Both of them keep showing up as corrupt on the DS and they won’t play.I have the exact same roms and firmware on my own R4 and they work perfectly. Ive searched Google but I found no answers.

Is the microSD chip bigger then 2GB ?, If your R4 is an original it can take no bigger then 2GBAre mabe a good format of the Chip with Panasonic SD formatter, Save all you can get off it frist though

No it’s a 2GB MicroSD, the exact same as mine.

Are you able to format it, alow you to i mean ?, and start again with firmware
Also enuth space are on there at 250MB each it will take a whole 500MB half a gig

I did that before coming here. I formatted the MicroSD and reinstalled everything but the same problem persists.

Panasonic SD Formatter : Formats your microSD. Use these options : FORMAT TYPE - FULL (Erase ON) : FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - ON.

I seem to be making progress. I formatted the MicroSD again with the Full (Overwrite) option this time and so far everything looks good. I’m putting the games on the cart 3 games at a time and checking to make sure they aren’t corrupted. I’ll edit this post with the end results.EDIT: Well Pokemon Black is still showing as corrupt but everything else is showing up fine. I'll see if White will be more cooperative.EDIT EDIT: Nah Pokemon White shows as corrupt also. I has a sad :(EDIT EDIT EDIT: By request of my brother’s friend I installed the games and firmware on a different MicroSD and it all works perfectly. This would seem to be a problem with the actual MicroSD itself and not the games or firmware.
