I am downloading several files of romumlation and at random one will cause flashget to freeze when checking the integrity. I talked with loony and he told me to set the affinity to a single core. Problem is that it dint work, machine crashed. And by Crash I mean totally unresponsive I have to force-reset the desktop PC and then it might not get to the screen where I have to type my password.Edit and now flashget re started the download from scratch but refuses to let it start.Ok situation is far worse flashget has caused that windows won't read my hitachi hard drive. But it shows up in the bios. And the start is fucked so I am reinstalling.

Don't know who else could give you proper insight on this since Loony been away for 4 days (don't know when he'll be back online), and Seph barely respond to posts these days. If I may suggest, why not try using other download accelerator/manager program. At least to see if it's caused by Flashget or your computer. But if you're sure it's Flashget at fault, then best try other manager program. Also I'd suggest running anti-malware and anti-virus program to check for possible infection.

Wound up having to remove all partitions then I managed to reinstall (windows ultiamte 64 bits) and wound up using easeus data recovery wizard to recover a bunch of the missing data. But for some insane reason windows thought that the partition D:/ was the main one when it was not.And then I had to open the tower and check the power cable and SATA data cable (moved the HDD from SATA 3 to SATA 4) and now I am recovering large amounts of data (245.19 gb's worth of data)
