i run ePSXe for final fantasy 8 when in game cant read the text it only black box any1 know what happen please help :-[

Never had that happen to me. Best 3 guesses how to fix it are.
1.Use a different video plugin(peops soft is the one i use)
2.Use a Different version of epsxe. (1.7.0 and 1.8.0 is the one i used)
3.Get another copy of FFXIII.4.If case all else fails. Try a different emulator. pSX 1.13 is compatible so is pcsx(dont know which version)If all that and it still dont work, you might have to get a new video card or update the driver, update your directX, or actually find the physical copy of the game.

use ePSXe 1.5.2 and make sure you enable the relevant special game fixes in the graphics plugin config.

they dont need that old version, all newer versions work just fine. wish op had a image to see the issue, but testing it found zero problems with black text box.

actually 1.5.2 works better for squaresoft games than newer versions.
