and while I'm sure Bobby Zamora would have been an able replacement...
I decided to cash in and get Adebayor in for a few weeks...But fear not...I used my wildcard this week...

Yeah but then you put him on the bench and use your sub striker. When Torres was injured I played with Berbatov and Bendtner up front. But at that time Berbatow was struggling to get a game for Spurs and Torres injured, i was getting little points. Now he is scoring like a machine and should be back amongst the top. 8)I had so many injuries already. Dunne, Petrov, Kranjcar...need to get some new players. Zaki from Wigan should bag me a lot of points.

I don't have a sub-striker...I play 3 up front...Zaki won't get you anything...he's already scored his few goals for the season...
Ashley Young will get goals and assists....and won't take up a striker slot..
Steven Ireland will get a few assists...

Zaki is still scoring hey, I totally should have gotten him. Damn, down to fifth this week, forgot to get rid of my injured players. Half my team is bloody injured.

Bought 'El Nino' (Torres' nickname) and lost 12 points, but am still in third. Not too bad considering I have Ireland to play today against Newcastle.EDIT: Yes, you should have bought Zaki grimsim, gave me 10 points alone :P
