virtually none, all they do is shut the sites down.

the rules are what is listed in the rules topic. Providing you don't break them, we really don't care what you do.

Honestly if you want to download you ROMs from here and upload them to your own site then go ahead, we really don't care, it's the same file we all have anyway and they all come from the same place. We just host them, we don't dump them ourselves.

yah but im not starting any rom site right now because 1 i dont have any money nor do i have that good of web site building skills yet and 2 my mom wont let me :'(

I suggest you learn a decent amount in design/ HTML before starting ANY site.... Not to mention the time and devotion it takes to keep it going.

hmm, I've been curious for a while...where exactly do you get SO many roms/isos?
I mean it would take forever for it to be done by one person, so even the mighty seph couldn't do it alone (if he does it)

My theory is he doesn't get it from a "place", he probably has a few friends online that help him rip the games.
hes probably a part of a hacker group or something (I can't remember any of them anymore).

Why make a rival site when we already have the best romsite in the world? ;D
