Try running Mystery Dungeon Red instead. It's the exact same game, except a different system.

Read the Common Issues.
This may happen whenever the save type for the game wasn't set to the correct one.
If you're using 2.6a, set the NDS Backup Cartridge Media, to Auto. If not, download the latest one from the link above.

Thank you. I was NOT using 2.6a, and just downloading it fixed the problem.@mods: Topic can be locked.
