DVD Burning
C
What is the best DVD burning software that I can download? So I can um...... back up my movies. :P
A
You can use Nero or Alcohol 120%.
C
Cool thanks man :) Would you know of any cracks to get the full version of Alcohol 120%?
L
don't discuss them on this forum.
C
Fair enough, sorry bout that.

best burner out there is imgburn, a new version of dvd decrypter. it needs no crack, it's free, can do everything any other can, and burns almost everything. check
this out for details, and go
here for the downloads page. the most recent version is
version 2.4.1.0. on the downloads page, there are several language files. to use them, just download them, and extract them in a folder named ''languages''. that folder is in the folder you installed imgburn. when it's extracted, open up imgburn, go to ''tools'', ''settings'', ''general'', and in language select the one you want.
nice mini-tutorial, huh? :P

Thanks for that, much appreciated ;D

Only Problem is it can't read copy protected discs...
A
Yeah, there's no way for ImgBurn to read protected discs, so you're going to have to resort to Alcohol 120% or something.
C
I had the same problem with Alcohol 120% when I tried to create an image file. It said it couldn't read copy protected discs. ???
A
It should be able to read copy protected discs, I was able to read my Sincity disc last week. It just might not be able to copy it correctly. Here is something that might help you. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/232941

Any protected disk can be read with AnyDVD, its basically a program which runs in the task bar and eliminates the protection on disks before your burning program reads them. I used AnyDVD along with the latest nero and I havnt found anything that I cant read/burn yet.Link:http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html
