DSi menu shows Star wars lethal alliance not R4

I had ordered 2 r4i golds and i had one for my dsi and 1 for my ds lite, both work on either ds, though, and i downloaded the latest kernel.One day, one of the cards suddenly stopped working when i put it on the ds lite and charged it, it wasnt the micro sd, i checked clearly, it was the r4i Gold itself.Anyone know why this happened, i dont get it!

What exactly does it do when you turn on your DS? "stopped working" isn't enough information.
