Well giving out our friend codes is kinda dumb cuz well you wouldnt know if the oher person has added you... we should send the person a message with our FC to say i added you heres mine

Is there anyway to tell if someone adds you? Is there like a message telling you to accept or deny or do you both have to add each others codes...?

you both have to add each others codes, there is no message letting you know. The purpose of friend codes is so that friends you know at school/work or whatever can add you and play you from home. They wernt meant to be shared online.
