ds freezing

My ds keeps freezing while play games and when i close my ds while its on for about 5 mins my game freezes as well im new to the ds homebrew front any help would be appreciated if this is an old problem i did search the forums but could not find it thank u

Update to the latest firmware for your microSD card, If it dose not already have ithttp://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

how do u tell what firmware ur sd is using?

Its the card you have, sorry but not what i haveI have a R4 revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) and firmware v1.18 is for itThe firmware has to match your card, Have a look at the lable on the card or box it came in , they sould be a direct adress on the box for your firmware, to get it fromAlso they will have the latest for your card
