Use a Download Manager such as Free Download Manager so when you get disconnected you can resume your download.

This is not within our budget at the moment. We offer many options for combating disconnects which you'll have to use.

I guees using the European server would reduce your connection problems, since Europe is physically closer to Australia than United States?

Same file, hosted on a free host (megadownload, rapidshare).

No. No they don't. Megaupload hosts in the US and Rapidshare hosts in Germany.

Okay then. Mirrors won't solve the 'problem'.

The best thing that can be down about it at the moment is a download manager.
