Dolphin emu lag issues.

Ok, I've downloaded Dolphin and Pokemon XD Gale of darkness and it loads. My problem is it's extremely slow, is it my computer, or is there any settings I can alter for it to work better.Edit: It says it's speed is 40%

what are your p.c specs?
