Dog did online shopping?
D
http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/gamer-has-bone-to-pick-with-online-shopping-dog/1366683Here is a simple story:
1.) Greg owns an xbox console
2.) Dogs like to chew, Oscar is a Dog
3.) Oscar chew Greg's Xbox controller and opened Gregs Xbox
4.) Oscar accidentaly bought 5,000 microsoft points worth 60 Dollars cause Greg keeps his credit card details in his xbox
5.) Greg got a email confirming his purchase (happy?)
6.) Greg blames the DogTruth or BS?
G
What kind of BS is this..!
I'm not buying it..!
M
Stupidity I reckon. If true...he's an idiot-I'd keep my detail seperate incase the system got stolen :(
D
If i was a credit company and i heard that excuse, i'll return his 60 bucks and ask if i can slap him. What a crock of S.
T
BS.I have never been called about confirming microsoft point purchases. I keep my credit card info details stored, and purchase them quite a bit. Just last week I downloaded the Family Fun thing and Sorry, Scrabble, Sorry Sliders, and Connect 4.He's just lying to try and be popular on the internet :)
M
Hell yeah that means I can download movies again, if I get caught this time I can blame one of the cats! YES!
R
Dog? Online shopping?
Bullsh*t, kid just had to blame something...

There's nothing in the article that suggests he was called for a confirmation..... Learn to read?Just read the article. :P

Man's best friend? Not when he runs up your credit card.Meet Oscar, faithful companion of Greg, a reader of top gaming blog Kotaku. As a one year-old Lab/Hound, Oscar has a bit of a chewing problem. Shoes, underwear, blinds, and pillows have all been targets for his gnashers, but when he turned his attention to Greg's Xbox 360 controller one night, an expensive (and immensely unlikely) sequence of events ensued. As Oscar chomped down on the wireless controller, he successfully turned on the machine, navigated to the Xbox's online store and purchased 5,000 Microsoft Points, at a cost of over $60. That was charged directly to Greg's credit card, as Greg discovered when he woke up."What are the odds that he chews on the right buttons, in the right order and moves the stick in the right directions to navigate and purchase points?" asks Greg. "1 in a billion? More?"Perhaps, Greg, perhaps. Maybe Oscar just wanted to pimp out his avatar, rent a movie or two, and play some Shadow Complex. We'll probably never know.
Your right!

watch the clip? thats why i gave you link instead of a freaking newspaper.

this bump "my dog eat my homework" to a new level.
M
Agreed.... and that's more...what should I say.. hmm...

damanali5.) Greg got a call confirming his purchase
No he didn't get a call, he looked on his cell and saw the
e-mail of his purchase (which does happen).
damanali · #10watch the clip? thats why i gave you link instead of a freaking newspaper.
The clip even says:
My phone goes off with an e-mail around eleven forty[...]
He never got a call. Even the story on Kotaku clarifies.
Kotaku"I realized it when I checked my phone to see what time it was (I had to be at work soon) and saw the e-mail from Microsoft confirming the purchase for $62.50," he told Kotaku via email. "At that point it was a little after 5 a.m.... not something you want to wake up to."
I think this story is believable, it's incredibly easy to purchase points on Xbox Live. If a child can add fake numbers on my contacts on my phone, then a dog could purchase MSpoints. Buying MS Points is a lot easier than adding contacts on my phone. :\
D
Ok, change the call to email? happy? does it changes the fact about the news that the dog did buy xbox points? also, thats why it has a source, read, watch, hear it all you want, i'm just simplifying the article. Also you can report it to a mod, reason: wrongly posted message.

Why would I report it? That's a ridiculous reason to get a warning.
I said that it's an e-mail because two people talked about it and they jumped to conclusions, just saying.
Buying MS points is incredibly easy, here's the quickest way to purchase MS points: Turn on the xbox (with the huge Xbox button), depending on which ad is highlighted or is present, press x, press a, and done. You just bought Microsoft Points.

If it isn't BS then it is BS
