Does adding prefixes in already popular games boost sales?

ThasaidonThat didn't seem to work for the Street Fighter II versions...or did it?!
::)But well, Street Fighter II was a popular name. They wanted to keep the game going, so they put prefixes in it. That kinda boosted sales I guess.

The same could be said for suffixes.Super Mario 64, Kirby 64, Donkey Kong 64, Wave Race 64, Etc.Super Mario Advance, FF advance, etc.And NSMB wii is an example where both a prefix AND suffix were added.Nintendo are the only people who really do this anymore. You don't see Hyper Metal Gear Solid PS3 Or Super God of War 5 PSP, It just doesn't SOUND good in serious titles.I'd say It'd push sales with a younger audience in mind, but if I saw Super God of War 5 PSP on the store shelves one day, I'd shit myself laughing.
