Dj Max Trilogy Xbox Controller

I recently installed dj max trilogy but it seems i can only use the keyboard as the controller. I also don't have the dedicated controller for the game nor do i plan on getting one. I do have an xbox 360 controller but dj max won't detect it even when it's already connected. Can anyone help?

You can use keyboard mapping software like Xpadder or Joy2Key to get your joypad inputs to emulate keyboard inputs. Works like a charm on most games.
