Apparently according to some tier lists, the top three would be Exdeath, Golbez and Tidus. I like Golbez because all his moves just seem to flow together. BTW, how do you say Tidus, is it "tee-dis" or "tie-dus"?

I watched an interview of the guy who does the voice acting for Tidus and he pronounced it Teedus.As far as my favorite to use is either Cecil or Cloud. I found them to be the easiest to learn. When I played as Tidus, I did mostly HP attacks, and very little damaging attacks. At least it seemed that way...

In the game the say tee-dus so I'm pretty sure that's the correct pronounciation

I just realised, Tidus rhymes with Cleedus from the Simpsons. Anyway, just finished Terra's story, her ex-mode looks like she's naked.

Did you ever play FF6? Her ex-mode is her Esper form. Her esper form is a pure magical being, solid pink (ish) that doesn't wear clothes.

Cloud's story is soooooo easy. I did it in like 10 mins. But he is pretty good, but can't attack from distance. Also Happy New Year, RomUlation.

It's actually Tee-Dus. That's how it's pronounced in the official game.The long "i" sound as in Tie doesn't come for an "i" in many Latin based languages and Japanese (which is the original language for the name source) instead the sound comes from the "ay" or "ai" combination, making an "ah ee" sound. Instead the "i" in those languages produces more of a long "e" sound.

So much confusion over a name they clearly say as Tee-dus in the game.

That's to say. Tidus is a pretty good character, his speed and agility is quite useful.
His attacks pack quite a punch too.

Tidus FTW!! Her is so much fun to play.... His moves can dodge then counter which is usefull once you get the handle....

Squall, a very under-rated character, he is right up there with the best. I reckon his name is better as leon like in Kingdom Hearts.

Big Sword is awesome :P
And his Ex attack (Omnislash) does a big starting damage.

I admit he does get a head-start because he's from a good game, but he really lives up to the hype and fights really well. I can't see how you don't like him.

gah soo much fanboyism >.< yes cloud good but he isn't the best.

I mostly use Firion for hius long range attacks, I like using Kefka too

Onion Knight is pure awesome! I loved him as soon as I saw the trailer for Dissidia! Aside from that, I like Jecht, Tidus and Golbez. Cloud is worth mentioning too, but I get the feeling that there's been enough people saying that

Onion Knight is the best, a bunch of fast attacks, best.

OK and Cloud are overrated in my opinion. Terra actually works good for me.
