Did I kill my Wii!?!? No....

No....What happened?I've had my Wii for only 2 and 1/2 years and now i find it won't turn on!
It was always hot for some reason, I couldn't figure out why...Did it overheat?

maybe.
try unhooking the wii from the tv for a night while you sleep and hook it back on in the morning.
that worked with me when a lightning disconnected my wii for a while.if that doesnt work, try customer service.

or rather unhook all of the cables from the wii and let it sit overnight as boredsimon said.......it may have just had a black out or something........that's what happened to my n64 a few years ago!! worked for me!!but i'm not sure about the wii though.....couldn't hurt to try!

Did you upgrade the firmware?4.2 is said to be unstable-modded or not-it could brick it...Call nintendo if that did happen.
