Demons Souls was insanely hard for me when i played as Soldier. The only level i had beaten was 1-1. I decided to pick up Demons Souls again and play as pretty much the Easy Mode character, a Royal. I'm enjoying the game so much more now. I'm able to explore more, beat more levels now and all in all i'm able to not really have to worry about the enemies.Apparently they're making Dark Souls even harder. Won't be buying that game.

Royal only makes the starting part easier. I'm still stuck on fucking Maneater, god damn it's unfair. My friend beat the game by absorbing the boss demons' souls but you lose out on the most powerful spells that way.I kinda wish there was an easier mode at least, I love the game but I can't continue playing it because I'm stuck at one part.

The Maneaters suck. You have to fight two of them, they're strong, and the fly around becoming hard to hit.

And you're on a narrow bridge.
Be warned, the game gets much harder as enemies get stronger. The spell you get as a royal is still useful later until you get to the stage with the Tower (I forgot what it's called).

And fighting them physically is nearly impossible in later play throughs. The second play through especially is really difficult.
Trying to beat the maneaters >.<.Apparently you can kill one of them through the fog with arrows, though it didn't work when i tried.

You have to stand on the very edge of the fog doorway and shoot just right. You have to make sure you don't have an arrow with an added knock back effect too, otherwise you knock the first maneater out of view. If you try to shoot straight through the fog though, it won't work. Look up a video to know how for sure.
