Dark Alex (maker of M33) theroies...

What do you think happened to this guy?Recently because I just upgraded from m33 to GEN D-2 (got sick of patching...) I thought of some commom thoughts...1.He quit2.He got paid out by sony3.He not only got paid out but is now working for them on anti piracy gear, hence the new save state feature on the go4.He didn't want to compete with the GEN team as they always seem to have something far before him, he might return if they skip one or something happens5.He's secretly working with GEN team :)6.He's waiting for a very important firmware release that not only gives advanced features but also one that would be a challenge to crack-prehaps 7.00m33 that can be installed straight on?7.He's going to surprise us :)WHat do you think, after I got GEN I am leaning towards option 4, only because he keep's saying "I'm not working on it" yet has said nothing else.

He is still on the scene, but he simply said "I'm not doing 6.00m33".Prehaps that is another thought...

Maby hes thinking ahead and is making 7.00 m33....

But he would need the 7.00 OFW first otherwise it's wasted effort.

I know.... Hes probably started on it and is wating so when sony makes 7.00 hes gonna be ahead of GEN....

But he needs to dycrypt 7.00 before he can do anything, otherwise it's just 5.00m33 with a new name and faking some of it's features...Which would mean there will be update after update which is annoying.

Hes a smart guy.... He'll figure it out.... Or maby hes dead....

I doubt it, but then again while his death might have been on the news, the name dark alex would disappear without a trace...But him saying he ain't doing 6.00m33 was recent, not to mention that an assasin is a bit too much...maybe a car crash but not this BS...

Maby he got into an accident?? Hes got nothing but broken bones so he cant make any cfw right now....

That could also be true.

actually,i read this one thread saying that sony shut him down, whatever that might mean.maybe they paid him out, have him working with them with pspgo or, they threatened him with law suits. but im really not sure, but i would put it past sony after what happened with bleem!.

Bleem! was an entirely different situation, it was a commercial product.

they can, but theres a lot more reason for going after someone thats making money off of you than someone who isn't.

kinda weird... i just updated to gen also, but i really miss m33 for some reason... i donated to dark alex a few times whe i first got cfw. using gen makes me fell like a traitor...who doesnt like to patch his games...
