i was just wondering, even though this game is a european game, is it still possible to change language to english?

It should have all the european languages on there anyway so english will be in it and i expect it will be the default language anyway.

If the game contains English, then yes. What are you using to play the game? Check out the common issues thread, it explains common language problems.
