Main reason(s) I want it isAce Combat X: Skies of Deception
Capcom Classics Collection Remixed
Boxer's Road 2: The Real
Brave Story: New Traveler
Breath of Fire III
Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition
Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
Jeanne D'Arc
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
Killzone: Liberation
Metal Gear Acid
Metal Gear Acid 2
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Prince of Persia Revelations
Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX
Tenchu: Time of the AssassinsAlso I want to able to play GBA and snes games sinse my m3 can't do it very well(mario rpg cant even run on it :-[ )
But the thing stopping me from buying it is that they haven't made a cos tum firmware for it to play roms.
So my question is should I wait it out and buy the slim later or just buy a old one right now.(I've just heard rumors that they already hacked 3.60 but still haven't run roms on it yet.)edit- also anybody know how long it might take?
edit-turns out just recently there is downgrade avaliable but you need a phat psp to use it and its nor very stable.

this is exactly what i was gonna post about, i wanna know about this too. I want a slim psp but i wanna check and see what homebrew stuff i can do with it. Being a poor college student the psp itself (if my ffxi account sells ok) will break my bank and the only way to get games for it will be downloading them. And besides i wanna play snes roms on it too haha, like the other guy said, M3/R4 just dosnt cut it.

so um... are you saying it can play PS1 and PSP games from the memory card out of the box or only after putting Firmware M33 3.60 on it?I dont have a psp so lookin at people talking about it wierd until you have one, just like the instructions for the R4 ect.

Yeah - well at least the orriginal PSP could. Someone said in an above post that you need to go through a different procedure to flash your PSP Slim but the effort is getting the firmware on in the first place. Dark Alex, through his custom firmwares, removed the restrictions on pirated games and PSX compatibility and M33 started up once he had left the scence.

I already knew about that but the problem is that I would need a Pandora battery(well make one anyway) and a psp with 1.50...which I don't have.

Here's one. http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-firmware-discussion-253/t-guide-the-ultimate-custom-firmware-thread-114280.html
Just follow the steps for which ever firmware you want to use. I used it to install a CFW on my new slim.Another good one is at http://www.pspiso.com/index.php?topic=72488.0 but you need to register as a member to read it. But well worth it. However, only one thing before you do: give them a dummy email account when you register. You still need to log onto the account to verify but it'll be pretty much useless after you receive their spam onslaught. But good forum to learn and get your feet wet.
