Connecting Sapphire (USA) With Diamond (EUR)

I recently bought Sapphire (USA) from Ebay and tried to connect with my Diamond (EUR) but after I did that, My Sapphire file was deleted.Now I'm wondering if they are completable at all.
Or is there something wrong with Sapphire?I had a Sapphire (EUR) before and something is different with the USA version.
Every time when I start up Sapphire (USA) with a message:
"The save fill will be loaded"
"The game can be played"I never had this message in the EUR version.I hope that someone has more information about this.Thanks you for you time.- Kevinmoto

My advice: ftp your save of Diamond to your pc and change the name into the name of the (U) rom. Then try again with the U rom.
